UWC Atlantic wins International Award for Scholarship Campaign video
UWC Atlantic has been recognised on the global stage after receiving a Bronze Award in the prestigious 2026 CASE Circle of Excellence Awards for its Big Give Campaign video.
The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Circle of Excellence Awards are regarded as the highest international honours in educational advancement, recognising exceptional creativity, innovation and impact across fundraising, alumni engagement, marketing and communications.
This year, 628 institutions from 33 countries submitted more than 4,185 entries across 93 award categories. Just 493 entries received Bronze, Silver, Gold or Grand Gold recognition, placing UWC Atlantic's Big Give campaign among the world's leading advancement initiatives.
The award-winning video formed the centrepiece of UWC Atlantic's Big Give Campaign in 2025, telling the powerful stories of students, many from conflict zones, whose lives have been transformed thanks to a scholarship to UWC Atlantic and the generosity of donors. The campaign inspired supporters to invest in UWC Atlantic’s Scholarship Programme and raised over £280,000 in just one week, helping ensure that talented young people from every background can access a UWC Atlantic education.
The CASE judges said “The personal stories aligned closely with the video goal, making the message especially compelling and effective”.

"We're incredibly proud to receive this international recognition from CASE. This award celebrates not only the creativity of the campaign but, more importantly, the extraordinary students whose stories inspired it and the generosity of our global community of supporters. Every scholarship changes a life, and we're delighted that this powerful message has been recognised on the world stage. The campaign ran for just a week with a very small production team - the Big Give fundraising lead, our two-person in-house Communications Team and an external videographer Joe Griffiths from Mad Buddha Productions.“
This latest recognition reflects UWC Atlantic's continued commitment to sharing authentic stories that inspire philanthropy and expand access to its life-changing education. With around half of its students receiving financial assistance, philanthropy remains essential in ensuring that the UWC Atlantic can welcome exceptional young people regardless of their financial circumstances.
This international award recognition is a testament to the creativity, collaboration and dedication of the UWC Atlantic fundraising and communications teams and reinforces the College's growing reputation for excellence in educational advancement and storytelling.
