UWC Atlantic celebrates the transforming power of ‘Time, Talent, and Treasure’ in annual Impact Report

UWC Atlantic has published its latest Impact Report for 2025-2026, celebrating the remarkable contributions of its global alumni, supporters and friends whose generous donations of time, talent, and treasure continue to transform students’ lives, preserve the College’s historic campus and enrich the local community.

Founded on the principle of making education a force to unite people, nations, and cultures for peace and a sustainable future, UWC Atlantic relies on a vibrant global network to fulfill its mission. The newly released report highlights how collective generosity over the past year has directly shaped the educational landscape and community outreach at St Donat’s Castle.

Inside the report, features include:

  • Changing lives through Scholarships and Mentorship - At the heart of the report is the life-changing impact on students. Philanthropic giving, or "treasure" has enabled UWC Atlantic to maintain its commitment to deliberate diversity, offering scholarships to exceptional young people from around the globe regardless of their socio-economic backgrounds. Beyond financial gifts, volunteers and alumni have contributed invaluable "time and talent," mentoring students, offering career guidance, and leading workshops on global challenges.
  • Preserving a Historic Campus - The impact of this support extends to the physical grounds of the 12th-century St Donat’s Castle, the College’s historic home. Through dedicated restoration funds and specialised heritage advice, donors and volunteers ensure that this unique heritage site remains a safe, inspiring, and sustainable learning environment for future generations.
  • Empowering the Local Community - The Impact Report also underscores the College’s deepened connections with the local and wider South Wales community. Through student-led service projects, environmental initiatives along the Glamorgan Heritage Coast, and local partnership programmes, donor-funded resources enable students to give back meaningfully to the community that surrounds them.
