Volunteer for UWC Atlantic
Our goal is simple: to reclaim our leadership in values-based international education. We want you to share in, and to help shape, our direction of travel and to help nourish our culture and extend the resources of UWC Atlantic. There are many ways to get involved - get in touch so that together we can find an opportunity that fits your needs, challenges and strengths.
Our volunteers come from all walks of life and bring with them experience, charisma and an eagerness to support the diverse students of UWC Atlantic. You can volunteer:
- Through your National Committee
- With us on campus
Volunteer for your National Committee
UWC depends on the dedication and expertise of a network of more than 3,000 volunteers to find and select students in more than 158 countries worldwide.
Most of the UWC National Committees across the world are run by volunteers. If you would like to volunteer for the National Committee operating in the country where you live, visit UWC.org/NationalCommittees to find their details.

‘UWC Atlantic gave me everything at an important part of my life. I have a deep sense of giving back. When you are 16 or 18, it is a very important point in your life. You come to the College, you make friends, you start building your life. You are then propelled into the future and the experience becomes a launching pad for the time ahead.
When you are so fortunate to have been given this opportunity, then you want to give back.
Out of all the things we do at the Danish National Committee, the most important of all is that we are sending new generations of wonderful students out, so that UWC becomes their experience and not just ours. By doing so, we continue to build the student, and then alumni, community’

Case Study
'I have been involved with the Campus Volunteers since 2012, when the group began, under Jill Longson's inspiration, to carry out projects at AC ahead of the 50th celebrations.
We have worked in the gardens, in the student houses and in various other locations on campus to enhance and renovate areas for all those who live, study and work at UWC Atlantic.
For myself, it's a chance to give something back to this wonderful College in the company of old and new friends. It is lovely to see that the dream is still alive and flourishing!'
